Franklinton is located in south east Louisiana, roughly 70 miles north of the New Orleans area in the heart of Washington Parish. It's easily accessible from Baton Rouge, New Orleans and the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

From Baton Rouge and points south west:
     I-10 to I-12 east
     From I-12, exit 38B onto I-55 north toward Jackson
     From I-55, exit 46 onto LA-16 east toward Amite City
     From LA-16, turn left at LA-16/LA-25
     Continue on LA-10 into Franklinton

From New Orleans/Metairie:
     Lake Pontchartrain Causeway
     Continue on North Causeway Blvd.
     Continue on US-190 west 
     Continue on LA-25 north
